Located in Morgan Hill, CA, The Edes destination is a harmonious blend of art, design, and culinary excellence, crafted to immerse visitors in an environment where every detail reflects creativity and intentionality. The functional and aesthetic brand design goals for this unique gallery and restaurant experience were achieved through a cohesive alignment of architecture, interiors, branding, and an overarching brand narrative: “The Joy of Expression.”
The brand pillars are evident as you experience the spaces. First, the contemporary foundation. Key elements like geometry, form and organization define the aesthetic. Materials, textures, and spatial arrangements reflect a thoughtful balance between modernity and nature. Then comes process - adaptable expressions, flexibility and movement are integral to the experience. The gallery, Cura, adapts to showcase art in dynamic ways, with layered displays inviting exploration.
Stepping into Edes, visitors are enveloped by Cura (from curate), the contemporary gallery that celebrates multifaceted artists. Its brand concept of “Congruent Imperfections” is reflected in accessible, layered designs, wabi-sabi-inspired textures, and smooth contrasts. This space seamlessly transitions between architecture, interiors, and branding, with delicate interior wayfinding creating an ever-evolving environment that invites guests to embark on a sensory journey resonating deeply. Cura’s intimate and curated displays reflect the joy of creation, and the harmony found in imperfection.
